Huawei P50 series will officially launch on July 29th

According to multiple sources, Huawei will release at least two phones, P50 and P50 Pro for the Huawei P50 series.

More than a year after the launch of the P40 series. Huawei’s next-generation flagship phone, the P50 series, will be announced at a launch event on July 29. The company has announced the information on multiple social media channels.

Huawei P50 will officially launch on July 29th 2

Huawei is trying to make a comeback after being subject to US sanctions. In recent years, the US has imposed a series of tough sanctions against Chinese companies. This resulted in their once best-selling smartphone being devoid of popular Google apps and software, among other consequences. Restrictions on Huawei’s purchases of US-made components mean the company also has to stop making its own branded Kirin chipsets that power its phones.

In a Weibo post, Richard Yu, head of Huawei’s consumer business group posted: the series will mark the beginning of “a new era of mobile imaging,”. It is not yet clear whether Huawei’s P50 series will have a limited release in China. Or it will also be rolled out more widely internationally to the company’s key markets such as Europe and the UK.

At a launch event in June, Huawei announced its own mobile operating system called HarmonyOS, which is designed to replace Google Mobile Services on smartphones as well as a broad arrays of consumer devices. It also used last month’s event to introduce the Huawei P50 series, but was not shared on the launch date.

Google Play Store lets you share apps with others: How to use it?

Google’s Share Nearby debuted last year, allowing Android users to share files and other details with Android devices nearby. But this feature isn’t really an important addition to the operating system. Now, a new trick is being rolled out that allows users to transfer apps to others.

The “Share” tab is now appearing on Google Play Store builds. This option was first introduced in December 2020 and allows users to send an APK copy of the app to others via Share Nearby.

Importantly, not all apps are supported by this feature. The feature is quite situational, but it does have its uses. For example, that could be a boon for people who want to share a big, free game but don’t have fast or free Wi-Fi access.

How to use app sharing feature in the Google Play Store

The feature will be available to people running Google Play Store version 24.0 or higher. However, not all devices receive this feature at the same time.

How to enable app sharing in the Google Play StoreHere is how to get started with app sharing on the Google Play Store:

  • Open the Play Store. Navigate to My apps & games in the app menu.
    Select the Share tab.
  • To share apps with others, tap the Send button. To receive apps, tap Receive.
  • On the Send apps screen, tap Continue. Nearby Share also requires that you switch on your device’s location.
  • Select as many apps as you wish on the next screen by selecting their checkboxes.
  • When complete, hit the green triangle in the top-right.
  • Before the transfer can begin, you’ll need to search for and select a recipient. At this point, ask the intended recipient to complete steps 1 through 3 as required.
  • Once the connection is established, both users will need to double-check that the four-digit pairing code matches. If so, the recipient can hit Receive.
  • The download will then begin, and the recipient can hit Install alongside individual apps, or Install all.
  • Interestingly, once the two devices establish a connection via Nearby Share, both users can act as sender or recipient. A “Send apps” button allows the recipient to do just that, while the sender will see a “Send more apps” option instead.

Let’s check your Google Play Store and try app sharing feature now!

Samsung Galaxy S21 without charger in the box, Samsung is following Apple?

A Rumor have suggested that follow in Apple’s steps, Samsung is planning to remove the charger from the box of the new Galaxy S21. The new Samsung Galaxy will be announced this Thursday. Evan Blass, a reliable leaker shared images of the official Galaxy S21; which confirms that Samsung’s new smartphones will come without a power adapter in the box.

Blass has tweeted images of what he claims to be the official webpage of the Galaxy S21 and S21 Ultra. Before, he also leaked the entire iPhone 12 lineup before the Apple event. Besides having a new design, 5G support, and other enhancements, the new Samsung’s phones will not have a charger in the box — just like the iPhone.

In the website called “What’s in the box,” Samsung says that the new smartphones come with “just what you need” — a USB-C cable, the SIM-ejection tool, and a guide. Same as Apple has been saying since the company removed the power adapter from the Apple Watch box last year; Samsung also claims that the decision was made to help the environment.

This is somewhat contradictory to what Samsung did when Apple announced the iPhone 12 line. Samsung did made jokes on social networks; after Apple removed the charger from the iPhone box and jokes on social networks after Apple removed the charger from the iPhone box. But when rumors about the Galaxy S21 emerged on the web, these posts were deleted.

In a related note, Samsung invited its Twitter followers today to watch the Samsung Unpacked event this Thursday; but the tweets were shared using “Twitter for iPhone.” The company later deleted the tweets, but it was too late.
