After launching Nokia 5.3 and Nokia C5 in India, HMD Global is now busy with its preparations of launching the next series of its smartphones – Nokia 3.4, Nokia 2.4 and Nokia 7.3. Expected to debut at IFA 2020 conference in Berlin next month.
Nokia 3.4 will most likely be a budget smartphone. With just a few days left for the official unveiling, also check out expected specifications of the new Nokia phone.

Expected Specifications Of The New Phone From HMD Global

In terms of specifications, the Nokia 3.4 “Dr Strange” will have a large 6.5-inch display with 19:9 aspect ratio and HD+ resolution. The punch hole selfie camera is one proof of that. And the back panel houses a circular camera module with as many as three camera sensors and one LED flash. Nokia 3.4 should house a triple rear camera setup comprising a 13MP primary sensor, a 2MP depth camera, and a 5MP ultra-wide-angle lens with LED flash. The panel also features a dedicated fingerprint sensor.

For performance, Nokia 3.4 should draw power from a Snapdragon 460 processor, paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of storage. The smartphone will run on Android 10. It will have a 4,000mAh battery coupled with 10W standard-charging. Interestingly, it will have a micro-USB port. It will also house a 3.5mm headphone jack.

In addition, the render has a few things off. For instance, volume keys are not aligned properly. Clearly, there is something cool happening with the buttons, the method they are drawn. We can safely predict that the Nokia 3.4 will have a dedicated Google Assistant launcher. It just like some of the recent Nokia phones.

Based on leaks and rumours so far, Nokia 3.4 is likely to be a budget smartphone. Above all, if launched in India, it will compete with Realme 6 and Redmi Note 9 and other popular under ₹15,000 phones.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 price has leaked

There’s no question, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 price is going to be expensive; but it’ll be marginally cheaper than the original Galaxy Fold, at least in one region.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 price has leaked

The Galaxy Z Fold 2 UK price will be a hefty £1,799; according to the official Samsung website in a leak first spotted by notable leaker Max Weinbach.

That’s £100 ‘cheaper’ than the first Galaxy Fold, as noted by our own Deputy Editor, John McCann, in a funny, sobering retweet comment. The first-gen Fold cost £1,899 when it launched late last year.

You can already pre-order the Fold 2 on that page, even though Samsung’s second-gen foldable was supposed to be revealed in full next week, Tuesday, September 1. That’s when we’ll be hearing about the official US price and release date.

The UK pre-order page confirms that the Galaxy Z Fold 2 release date, too: Friday, September 18, with a shipping date of September 17. It’ll come with 256GB and be available in two colors: Mystic Bronze and Mystic Black.

What’s the Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 price be elsewhere?

This doesn’t guarantee that the Galaxy Z Fold 2 will be cheaper than the original Fold everywhere else. In the US, the first version cost $1,980, and in Australia, AU$2,900. But this leak does give us a ballpark figure – it’s going to be pricey everywhere.

The good news is that we don’t expect the Fold 2 to be a direction conversion from the new £1,799 price, like some follow-up tweets have posed. That would make it $2,375 in the US, but we often see UK prices for tech simply mirror US prices.

Another bit of good news: the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 seems to be a much better value. When it was teased at the Note 20 launch event, we saw a glimpse of an outer display that’s much bigger than the original (our biggest complaint) and specs that match the Note 20 Ultra (except the camera has a 2x optical zoom, not 5x optical).

We’ll still carry all of the coverage of the Z Fold 2 on Tuesday, September 1, complete with a live blog and how to watch the live stream guide. Stay tuned for the big event, which Samsung is called Galaxy Unpacked Part 2.

Wargaming has released World of Tanks Blitz for the Nintendo Switch

World Of Tanks Blitz Is Out Now For Nintendo Switch.

Developer Wargaming has just announced that their free-to-play MMO 3D tank shooter World of Tanks Blitz is now available for the Nintendo Switch via the Nintendo eShop.

Wargaming announced on August 27 morning that WoT Blitz, the mobile spin-off of the main World of Tanks series, would be making the jump to the Switch. WoT Blitz is already on PC, Mac and all mobiles. But the Switch version makes it the first time one of Wargaming’s MMO titles (World of Tanks, World of Warships) has made the jump to the Nintendo platform.

The Switch version will have cross-play with other platforms. So multiplayer lobbies shouldn’t be an issue. There is an option to search for only other Nintendo Switch players, however. Which is an option I’m sure we’ll see deployed more and more as cross-play becomes standardised on all platforms.

WoT will bring 7 vs. 7 tank battles to the handheld console

WoT Blitz is a 7v7 game, which is half the size of the 15 v 15 battles in World of Tanks. Although WoT: Blitz matches are also designed to last around 7 minutes each. Interestingly, WoT Blitz won’t require a Nintendo Switch Online membership account despite being an online-only title.

World Of Tanks Blitz

Regarding its performance on the Nintendo console. The game will run at 30 frames per second in 720p resolution while in handheld mode. As for being hooked up to a TV, the game will be able to support 1080p resolution. Certain improvements have also been made for the Nintendo Switch since this is the first time that Wargaming has released WoT Blitz for the console.

World of Tanks Blitz will not require Nintendo’s Switch Online membership subscription to play. Cross-play will also be entirely free across all platforms such as macOS, iOS, Android, Windows 10, and Steam.

Sony Is Offering PlayStation 5 Pre-order Registration

Sony has some good news for fans and enthusiasts eagerly waiting to get their hands on the soon-to-launch PlayStation 5.

The company is offering preorders for a brand new PS5 at launch. Despite not being able to provide a final price or release date to go along with it. Pre-order registration essentially means that you can now head over to Sony’s official product page for the PlayStation 5. And reserve a unit in advance.

Remember, this is with respect to pre-orders and not adding to cart. Pre-orders have not begun yet. But should you register, you will probably be the first in line to be able to do that as and when that opens. There are a few terms and conditions that must be fulfilled. The biggest being, whether you are lucky enough to be among the first few ones to buy the PS5.

Another interesting point is that the PS5 will use an 825GB super-fast SSD, with tech that’s not available off-the-shelf at the moment. While that might not seem like a lot of storage space given the current PS4 Pro comes with 1TB of hard disc storage. The fact that it’s using next-generation SSD tech does make it compelling.

Sony PlayStation 5 now open for pre-order registration

If you want to try, the access page is here. And if you get in, the maximum you’ll be allowed to order will be: 1 PS5 Console or 1 PS5 Digital Edition, 2 DualSense wireless controllers, 2 DualSense charging stations, 2 Pulse 3D wireless headsets, 2 Media remotes, 2 HD Cameras

The PS5 is forecasted to launch in November, so we’re expecting to hear more about it before that in terms of models and prices. So far it looks like the PS5 will be expensive. But with games like Horizon Forbidden West and Gran Turismo 7 on the horizon. It just might prove to be worth the asking price.

Fortnite season 4 – Chapter 2 is coming to town

Despite all the drama, Fortnite is still a live service game, and fans still expect new content. Season 3 of the game’s second chapter is coming to a close soon, and for some time, fans worried that Season 4 wouldn’t appear due to the legal battles between Epic Games and Apple. Fortunately, it was confirmed not long after the controversy began that Fortnite Season 4 will be coming as scheduled on August 27th. Thanks to an in-game comic book starring beloved Marvel hero Thor, it looks like the new season will have a strong emphasis on Marvel characters. Further details, however, will be unavailable until the season officially begins.

Fortnite season 4 is coming

Where can we get Fortnite season 4?

The new Fortnite Season 4 update is coming on August 27th, which is when Fortnite season 3 will end. The fun kicks off once the v14.00 update is available for download. Season 4 will be available on PC, PS4, Xbox One, Android and Nintendo Switch. Players on iOS devices, on the other hand, may not be able to play the new season when it starts, as explained further below.

What’s the theme for Fortnite’s new season?

One of the most notable Fortnite leakers, HYPEX, in the run-up to the Fortnite season 4 has rounded up plenty of leaked details that fans need to know in one single, handy tweet.

It appears Epic is rekindling its relationship with Marvel for season 4, according to Friday’s tweet. In a post online the Fortnite leaker revealed details on the Battle Pass skins, which will include a Wolverine skin, as well as teasing the arrival of a Thor POI in season 4.

This is definitely not the first time Fortnite has featured Marvel heroes. The battle royale game had special limited-time modes featuring Thanos and the Infinity Gauntlet as a tie-in to the release of Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. Another partnership with the comic company was in season 2, when Deadpool was the secret Battle Pass skin.

Is it able to play the new season of Fortnite on iOS and Android?

Because of the legal actions taking place, iOS or macOS users are not able to download Fortnite or any updates to the game if they already have it installed on their device. Epic confirmed this Wednesday with an update on its blog.

This has led to people attempting to sell iPhones with Fortnite installed for thousands of dollars on eBay. Epic did seek a temporary restraining order to conduct business as normal while the legal battle continues, but Apple filed a legal response saying Epic can come back only after it plays by the rules. A court hearing on the matter is planned for next week.

As for Android players, they can still install Fortnite on their devices. The only difference is they need to download the game directly from Epic or via the Samsung Galaxy Store rather than the Google Play Store.
