Nintendo Switch Confirms Release of Dying Light – A Beloved Action Game

The action game got so many love previously on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC platforms is finally headed to the Nintendo Switch. Specifically, that game is from developer Techland – Dying Light. The arrival of the original game on Switch is something that fans have been asking about for quite some time; while the upcoming sequel, Dying Light 2, seemingly won’t be heading to the platform any time soon.

Within recent days on Dying Light’s official Twitter account associated with the game, Techland confirmed the release of Dying Light on Nintendo Switch. Specifically, the studio revealed that the version that would be heading over to Switch is Dying Light Platinum Edition. Notably, this iteration of the game contains all of the added pieces of DLC and expansion content that were released after the initial launch of Dying Light all the way back in 2014. Basically, this iteration will give you everything that you could be looking for if you haven’t played the title before.

Techland is releasing a special physical version of Dying Light that may interest collectors while the game on Switch will be sold in a digital capacity. This physical iteration will come in a unique box that will contain the game itself, a large map, a “survival guide” that features a number of callbacks to the game, and stickers associated with the title.

At this point in time, we’ve got no idea when DyingLight will be coming to Nintendo Switch. A rumor teased that October will be the window in which the game will arrive. But the company has yet to publicly confirm this. Whenever a more specific release date is given, we’ll be sure to update you here.

Wargaming has released World of Tanks Blitz for the Nintendo Switch

World Of Tanks Blitz Is Out Now For Nintendo Switch.

Developer Wargaming has just announced that their free-to-play MMO 3D tank shooter World of Tanks Blitz is now available for the Nintendo Switch via the Nintendo eShop.

Wargaming announced on August 27 morning that WoT Blitz, the mobile spin-off of the main World of Tanks series, would be making the jump to the Switch. WoT Blitz is already on PC, Mac and all mobiles. But the Switch version makes it the first time one of Wargaming’s MMO titles (World of Tanks, World of Warships) has made the jump to the Nintendo platform.

The Switch version will have cross-play with other platforms. So multiplayer lobbies shouldn’t be an issue. There is an option to search for only other Nintendo Switch players, however. Which is an option I’m sure we’ll see deployed more and more as cross-play becomes standardised on all platforms.

WoT will bring 7 vs. 7 tank battles to the handheld console

WoT Blitz is a 7v7 game, which is half the size of the 15 v 15 battles in World of Tanks. Although WoT: Blitz matches are also designed to last around 7 minutes each. Interestingly, WoT Blitz won’t require a Nintendo Switch Online membership account despite being an online-only title.

World Of Tanks Blitz

Regarding its performance on the Nintendo console. The game will run at 30 frames per second in 720p resolution while in handheld mode. As for being hooked up to a TV, the game will be able to support 1080p resolution. Certain improvements have also been made for the Nintendo Switch since this is the first time that Wargaming has released WoT Blitz for the console.

World of Tanks Blitz will not require Nintendo’s Switch Online membership subscription to play. Cross-play will also be entirely free across all platforms such as macOS, iOS, Android, Windows 10, and Steam.
