Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War – Compare to Modern Warfare

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War was launch this October. But there is a debate whether the game is a downgrade from Modern Warfare.

Black Ops Cold War has been compared to its predecessor since it was multiplayer leaked a few months back. In the Call of Duty life cycle, it is a natural part.

A big point of this appears to be due to the game’s graphical capabilities.

Compare Black Ops Cold War’s Graphics and Modern Warfare’s?

Black Ops Cold World

Despite Cold War doesn’t appear to look better than its older brother – Modern Warfare. Many argue that the game looks worse. However it isn’t strictly fact.

Yes, the Cold War’s graphics are different from Modern Warfare. But they’re also more stylized. Different studios have developed these two game, it’s hard to compare them.

Modern Warfare has a cleaner, more crisp graphical style. It also is commonly associated with better performance. However, Cold War is more colorful and vibrant in nature.

We can see some direct graphical comparisons in a video by Call of Duty YouTuber TheXclusiveAce. There’s not too much difference between the two titles in essence. Although Modern Warfare tens to have a much higher quality image and attention to detail.

It’s worth pointing out, though, that one common fan complaint is not being able to pick out enemies amongst the game’s background. Right now, Treyarch needs to take steps to improve enemy visibility if it wants to put graphical concerns to rest.

The fact that Black Ops Cold War has been developed for both current and next-gen consoles also means that its graphical capabilities have been stunted. Treyarch isn’t able to push the PS5 and Series X hardware when the game has to run on older consoles.

Cold War’s Gameplay And Than Modern Warfare, is there any one worse than the other?

It’s hard to answer this question, honestly. Some players would argue that Modern Warfare was a step back for the franchise.

Despite Infinity Ward taking a chance and adding new cover mechanics, the resulting gameplay of Modern Warfare has become far more defensive. Lots of users criticize the game for being slow and campy.

On the other hand, Cold War is a return to form for the fast-paced Call of Duty. Players are encouraged to run-and-gun, especially since SMGs were so powerful in the Beta.

This ‘Arcade-style’ gameplay is often seen as being more enjoyable, but it’s also not without its faults. The new changes to the sliding mechanic, which was very broken in the Beta is a poor decision on Treyarch’s part.

It’s hard to compare an unfinished product to the one that’s on the market at the present. However, the developer may well fix this exploitable technique to release the best production.

At the end, we’re still going to have to wait until the completed product is delivered to make any judgment. What’s more, Cold War will play best on a next-gen console. But we’re yet to experience it.

We need to give Black Ops Cold War time to impress us. And right now, Treyarch is giving us more of a glimpse into what’s to come.

Black Ops Cold War is teasing a return of a popular character In a new series of videos. At the end of the day, the game is certain to deliver an entertaining follow-up to the Black Ops campaign.

Facebook Gaming Unveils A New Cloud Gaming Service For Free-To-Play Mobile Games

Amazon has Luna, Google has Stadia and now Facebook has its own cloud game service. But don’t expect to stream console and PC hits on Facebook Gaming’s cloud. When launched, it’s all about free-to-play, microtransaction-packed mobile games.

Facebook Gaming’s cloud gaming launched on October 27

Launched on October 27 in the United States in California, Northeast, Texas and mid-Atlantic states. Facebook’s cloud gaming offering is not a standalone service. Because, it is an addition to the vast array of browser-based social games already available to play on the social media platform. Visitors to the Facebook Gaming landing page and Android app in the beta testing areas will have access to a selection of mobile games. The list of game includes Asphalt 9: Legends, Solitaire: Arthur’s Tale, Mobile Legends: Adventure, WWE SuperCard and PGA TOUR Golf Shootout. Instead of playing natively or launching their own apps. These games will stream to your browser or Android app. Does not currently support iOS.

Facebook Gaming Unveils A New Cloud Gaming Service For Mobile Games

In the official announcement that you can read in full at Facebook Gaming. Facebook says it is not looking to surprise players with super-fast streaming or replace traditional gaming hardware.

Facebook Gaming is also releasing player names and avatars. It is a great news. Previous Facebook games used real names of players and Facebook profile pictures. They’re a bit more anonymous now. Moreover, the new player names will allow for cross-play between streaming games and apps easily.

Facebook is also using streaming technology to create cloud-playable ads. Stream actual games as ads instead of bad in-app ads you get in games on mobile. It represents absolutely no representation of the game they would like you to download.

Someone will ask: Why stream a free-to-play mobile game to the phone via the Facebook Gaming app instead of just download the app? But this will perfect feature for people who have older phones or don’t have a lot of storage space.

MagSafe 15W Fast Charging Is Limited To Apple 20W Adapter

Apple’s MagSafe charging puck does peak at 15W with iPhone 12 in new testing shows. However only when it paired with the company’s 20W adapter. Aaron Zollo of YouTube channel Zollotech found this explicit restriction. In a comprehensive assessment of Apple’s MagSafe uploaded on Monday, Zollo found two Apple adapters. It’s a new standalone 20W USB-C device and the 18W unit that came with iPhone 11 Pro handsets achieved high rates of charge.

In the video, it measured energy throughput with an inline digital meter. And it revealed MagSafe hits the advertised 15W peak charging rate when paired with Apple’s branded 20W adapter. Zollo notes the system takes some time to ramp up when speeds drop to about 13W with the 18W adapter.

MagSafe 15W Fast Charging Is Limited To Apple 20W Adapter

Apple’s own 96W MacBook Pro USB-C adapter created out 10W with MagSafe. It match a high seen by Anker’s PowerPort Atom PD1. Third-party models and older adapters with high output ratings do not fare well in the test. Similarly, charging rates hovered between 6W and 9W when attached to other adapters. For example: Google’s Pixel adapter, Samsung’s Note 20 Ultra adapter, Aukey’s 65W adapter. To stable energy, ensure fast delivery when connected to iPhone 12 series devices, third-party devices will need to adopt a MagSafe-compatible power delivery profile

As can be expected with any charging solution, temperature plays a significant role in potential throughput. Zollo found MagSafe significantly throttles speeds as temperatures rise, meaning actual rates are not a constant 15W even when using the 20W adapter. In some cases, this could prompt users to remove their iPhone from its case — including Apple-branded MagSafe models — to achieve maximum thermal efficiency.

To be Default iOS Search Engine, How Much Do Google Have To Pay Apple?

A lucrative deal between Apple and Google is in the United States Justice Department’s target. The deal itself is as part of one of the U.S. Government’s largest antitrust cases, reports The New York Times.

On Tuesday, the Justice Department filed an antitrust lawsuit against Google. Claiming that the Mountain View-based company used anticompetitive and exclusionary practices in the search and advertising markets to maintain an unlawful monopoly.

In a 2017 agreement, Apple updated on its devices to keep Google’s search engine as the preselected option. The New York Times reports that Google pays Apple estimated 8 to 12 billion dollars per year in exchange for making its search engine as default on Apple devices and services. This might be the single Google’s biggest payment that it makes to anyone. And to Apple, it accounts for 14 to 21 percent of itss annual profits.

.

Apple and Google

The deal from Apple and Google is claimed that is representative of illegal tactics used to protect Google’s monopoly and stifle competition. According to the Justice Department, the traffic comes from Apple devices takes almost one half of Google’s search traffic; and the prospect of losing the agreement has been described as “terrifying” and a “code red” scenario within the company. Due to Google’s system of ads, search traffic is integral to its business model.

Apple is likewise coming under fire for facilitating anticompetitive behavior by acquiescing to the deal and extracting more money with regular renegotiations. Although the two companies are competitors in Silicon Valley; the agreement is to be part of “an unlikely union of rivals.”

The legal intervention poses a damage to a significant chunk of Apple’s revenue. But for Google, it is a bigger danger. Google seemingly have no way to replace the traffic it would lose. And may be, Apple will acquire or build its own search engine, which could in turn pose an even greater threat to Google.

OnePlus 9 Series Is Set To Launch In March 2021 According To Reports

Usually, the OnePlus flagship being released in annual around May. But if OnePlus 9 launch in Mar 2021, which is 2 months ahead of normal.

OnePlus has been famous since they announced the OnePlus 8T. As per reports, they recorded sales of close to $30 million in China in under 10 minutes. Additionally, it is said that their Nord lineup will be launching soon in North America. In the US, OnePlus will position their Nord series as the N10 series with their first few phones launching next month. Apart from that, we know that a Watch from OnePlus is also pending which might be announced at the same time. However, we have something new to report regarding OnePlus and their plans for the coming year.

OnePlus 9 could be announced in March 2021

OnePlus 9 could be announced in March 2021

It seems OnePlus has changed their launch strategy and is continuing to launch more new phones. Because Android Central’s sources have told them that OnePlus 9 will launch way ahead of its regular timeline. Usually, we see the flagship series from OnePlus being released in the first half of every year. And it usually annual happening around May. But if  the OnePlus 9 will launch in March 2021, it is two months ahead of normal.

It’s also worth noting that the OnePlus 8T Pro wasn’t launched with the OnePlus 8T. And, the OnePlus 8 Pro will be nearly a year old by the time the OnePlus 9 launches so it does make sense. However, it also raises the question of whether OnePlus will launch their “Pro” phone during the upcoming 6-month refresh cycle. If not, we could see OnePlus launch a Pro phone every year and two non-Pro phones as we saw with OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8T.

While that makes sense for the OnePlus 8 Pro, it doesn’t suit the OnePlus 8T as the OnePlus 9 will also have 65W fast charging. The big upgrade we will see next year will be with the 5nm-based Snapdragon 875 5G chip. Which could be better than the Snapdragon 865 of the OnePlus 8T. We also feel that OnePlus will target OnePlus 8 users with OnePlus 9 rather than OnePlus 8T users. Even for the OnePlus 9 Pro, we felt that the upgrades would be insignificant beyond the camera.

Because they already have wireless charging, fast charging will be upgraded to 65W. And there will certainly be Snapdragon 875. But whether it justifies the price increase, and whether it forces OnePlus 8 Pro or OnePlus 7 series users to upgrade is a question for another day.
